6th graders were challenged in a STEM project today to build the tallest tower out of 5 sheets of newspaper and tape that would support a ping pong ball. Before building, they had 3 minutes to discuss strategy and develop a way to communicate since they would be unable to speak during the activity! After 20 minutes of working together, everyone was successful in supporting the ping pong ball. However, Romi and Adasyn built the tallest structure! It's almost as tall as them!
