Tomorrow is Banned Book Tuesday! Dress as your favorite character from a banned book or dress as a bandit to celebrate!
Don't miss our Banned Book Reading Night for Elementary tomorrow night at 5:30! A parent meeting will be held at the same time in the commons. Students report to the Library.

Kindergarten students got busy creating in the STEM lab this afternoon! Lots of teamwork and creativity were displayed this afternoon!
Today we had 5 Staff members attend a workshop hosted by Todd Whitaker! Teachers learned about tools to add to their teacher toolbox! Mr. Widel and Mr. Vossler were lucky enough to to get to chat with him after the workshop!
The 6th graders used their addition and subtraction of decimals skills to play a game of Trashketball!
Yearbook Students are headed out to sell yearbook ads today! We’d like to thank the community of Pilot Grove and our extended Cooper County community for their support.

Banned Book Week is next week
(September 26-October 2)
We will be celebrating school-wide.
Come to the library throughout the week to get your picture taken with a banned book.
Tuesday, September 28 is a dress-up day. Dress as a character from a banned book OR dress as a bandit or prisoner.
Wednesday there will be trivia questions (sent via google form to students) that students can answer for a prize.
Encourage students to discuss the books in the displays and to read!
Help our students to celebrate their freedom to read!
