Happy National Farm-to-School Month!  We are celebrating by participating in the Mountain Plains Crunch-Off.  We will be gathering this THURSDAY where everyone will receive the #1 produced apple in the United States -- RED Delicious! We were fortunate enough for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to donate our apples from Peter's Market located in Waverly, MO. More details about the assembly will be coming soon!

FUN FACTS:

*Apples are the most popular fruit in the United States. Gala Apples rank #2 out of the top 10 apples grown in the country, with Red Delicious being No.1!

*There are more than 2,500 varieties of apples grown in the United States and they come in all shades of red, green, and yellow
