Envirothon- Two teams from the high school participated in the Central Region Envirothon competition at Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City. Students worked with their teammates to answer questions at 5 different resource stations including soils, aquatic ecology, forestry, wildlife, and current environmental issues. Along with this they presented a group presentation over renewable energy solutions for Missouri. Waylan, Alec, Jefferson, Hayden, and Logan earned recognition for top scoring team in the Soils Resource station! The students worked hard and had a lot of fun at this event!
