Attention Student Organizations:

We invite you to host a trunk Tuesday, October 31st from 1:15-2:45 at Pilot Grove School Commons Parking Lot. If you are interested in hosting a "Trunk", please contact the Elementary Office at 660-834-4115 or email lleonard@pilotgrove.k12.mo.us We expect approximately 130 students.

Senior Dates-  Mark your Calendars!

Oct. 13 - Students attending ZAPS training (ACT Prep for those wanting tips to raise their ACT scores) in Boonville with Mrs. Reardon:

Brooke Murphy, Alec Schupp, Carlie Thomas, Aurora Sandberg, Waylan Christy, Logan Goehman, Ava Hoff.

Bus will be leaving at 7:50 w/ B-Tech students and returning around 2:30 pm.  Bring your chromebooks. 

October 18 - Build Your Future (updated date)

Juniors and Seniors will be attending the Build Your Future on October 18.  Bus @ 8:00 am, return at 2:00.  Students will need to bring money for lunch.

Waylan Christy, Elaina Wirths, Nathan Huggins, Beau Walker, Kayden Jenry, 

Jackson Day, Wyatt Weber, Hunter Helton.  

If a Junior or Senior is interested in attending and their name is not on the list, they should let me know.  

Oct 18 - Seniors will be meeting in Mrs. Zeller’s room during study hall.  They will need to bring their chromebooks. 

October 19 - 9-11:15 @ Glasgow - College/Career Day

You will have options for workforce, military and colleges.  Seniors and Juniors - You will need to be prepared with who you want to talk to and what information you want to learn.  Bus departs at 8:00 a.m.  

October 19 - 5-7 pm - FSA & FAFSA Night

Meeting to create Student FSA and Parent FSA for the FAFSA.  Students will need their SSN & chromebooks to create an ID.  Parents need email addresses as well.  

November 13 - Lunch & 5th hour - Pie & Apply

You will have time to eat pizza and apply to local colleges and scholarship search engines *if you have not already done so.  SFCC will be available to help create your FAFSA ID numbers.  

November 15, 2023  Mo Valley - Entrepreneur Day

This day will be spent at Missouri Valley College learning about Entrepreneurship and owning/managing your own business.  *You must have a strong interest in this career to attend.  If interested, please let me know before September 29th.   

January 17 -6:30 FAFSA Frenzy Night for Senior Students to complete before February 1st- Priority Deadline  All Seniors will need to complete the FAFSA!!!

What you need to be doing now-

  • Pinpoint your interests whether college, trade school, military, or workforce.

  • Apply to colleges you are interested in.

  • Begin looking and applying for scholarships!
