Wednesday, Mrs. Christa Brueckner and 8 high school students loaded the bus to attend the CAC Art Contest. This year's competition was held at Rothwell Park in Moberly. Students chose from several opportunities to create: still life, landscape, architecture, live model portrait, or an illustration prompt. They could create up to two hours before being judged against other schools in our conference. Mr. Smoot, professional artist specializing in graphic art was on hand to judge and give personalized critiques of every participants submission. Pilot Grove was proudly represented by these students; all who earned second or third place in their category. Congratulations!
