Pilot Grove HS Track Pounces at Glasgow Central Athletics Conference (CAC)!
The Pilot Grove JH and HS Track Teams went to Glasgow High School on 4/26/2023 and competed against the 7 schools in our Conference all bigger than us. Despite the heat and wind and the other schools being bigger that is, we still had a great day!
Notable top 10 Finishes in HS Include:
Marci Lammers: took 2nd overall in the 100m dash, 2nd overall in the 200m dash, and 1st overall in the 300m hurdles.
Madilyn Vollmer: took 10th in the 800m dash.
Grace Peterson: took 7th overall in the triple jump, 3rd in the discus, and 2nd in the javelin.
Kendall Rhorer: took 6th overall in the shot put, and 9th in the discus.
Waylan Christy: took 6th overall in the 100m dash.
Lyle Christy: took 5th in the 400m dash.
Kayden Jenry: took 3rd in the 400m dash, and took 10th in the 200m dash.
Lane Durham: took 3rd overall in the 800m run, 10th in the 400m dash, and 3rd in the 2 mile.
Logan Goehman: took 6th in the mile, 8th in discus, and 4th in the javelin.
Wyatt Weber: took 3rd overall in the 110m hurdles and 5th in the 300m hurdles.
Jackson Day: took 4th in the 110m hurdles, and 6th in the 300m hurdles.
The boy’s 4x100m relay consisting of Wyatt Weber, Kayden Jenry, Hank Zeller, and Waylan Christy took 5th overall with a time of 50.72.
The boy’s 4x200m relay consisting of Jefferson Day, Kayden Jenry, Hank Zeller, and Wyatt Weber, took 5th overall.
The girl's 4x100m relay consisting of Nadeen Zeller, Katie Fenical, Grace Peterson, and Marci Lammers took 3rd overall with a time of 58.17.
The PG HS Girls team ranked 5th overall and the PG HS Boys team ranked 3rd overall in team points.
