Pilot Grove JH Track Pounces at Glasgow Central Athletics Conference (CAC)!
The Pilot Grove JH and HS Track Teams went to Glasgow High School on 4/26/2023 and competed against the 7 schools in our Conference all bigger than us. Despite the heat and wind and the other schools being bigger that is, we still had a great day!
Notable top 10 Finishes in HS Include:
Arleigh Watring: took 2nd overall in the 100m dash, and 4th in the mile.
Milly Waller: took 9th overall in the 200m dash.
Romi Stegner: took 9th in the 100m hurdles, 7th in the long jump, and 2nd in the high jump.
Addison Renfrow: took 6th place overall in the triple jump.
Beretta Hoff: took 5th overall in the discus and 3rd in the shot put.
Matthew Renfro: took 4th overall in the 100m dash, and 3rd in the 200m dash.
Kole Kivett: took 5th overall in the 200m dash, and 5th in the long jump.
Ryland Skaggs: took 9th in the 200m dash, 3rd in the 100m hurdles, and 5th in the high jump, and 4th in the triple jump.
Gavin West: took 10th overall in the 200m dash, 4th in the high jump, and 4th in the shot put.
Zachery Rehmer:took 1st overall in the 400m dash, and 3rd in the 800m run.
Garrett Reuter: took 2nd overall in the 400m dash, and 3rd in the shot put.
Brycen Stephens: took 3rd overall in the 400m dash, and 6th in the long jump.
Josiah Hand: took 1st overall in the 800m run, and 4th in the long jump.
Keaton Reuter: took 8th in the 800m run, 6th in the 1600m run, and 8th in the triple jump.
Jackson Durham: took 5th place in the shot put.
The boy’s 4x100m relay consisting of Kole Kivett, Josiah Hand, Garrett Reuter, and Brycen Stephens, took 2nd overall with a time of 50.87.
The boy’s 4x400m relay consisting of Garrett Reuter, Josiah Hand, Brycen Stephens, and Zachery Rehmer, took 1st overall with a time of 4:19.54.
The girl's 4x100m relay consisting of Romi Stegner, Arleigh Watring, Milly Waller, and Addison Renfrow took 4th overall with a time of 59.86.
The PG JH Girls team ranked 6th overall and the PG JH Boys team ranked 1st overall in team points.
JH Boys took 1st Place in their division, winning the conference, and bringing home a nice CAC plaque.
