Pilot Grove Track Pounces at Harrisburg Spike Classic! The Pilot Grove JH Track Team went to Harrisburg High School on 4/19/2023 and competed against 8 different schools all bigger than us. Despite the heat and wind and the other schools being bigger that is, we still had a great night! Notable top 10 Finishes Include: Marci Lammers: took 1st overall in the 100m dash, 5th overall in the 100m hurdles, and 1st overall in the 300m hurdles. Katie Fenical: took 5th overall in the 200m dash. Madilyn Vollmer: took 9th overall in the 400m dash and 9th in the 800m dash. Grace Peterson: took 6th overall in the triple jump, 7th in discus, and 2nd in the javelin. Kendall Rhorer: took 1st overall in the shot put. Kayden Jenry: took 3rd in the 200m dash, and 1st overall in the 400m dash. Lane Durham: took 8th overall in the 200m dash, 6th in the 800m dash, and 2nd in the 2 mile. Logan Goehman: took 3rd in the mile, 9th in discus, and 2nd in the javelin. Wyatt Weber: took 3rd overall in the 110m hurdles and 1st in the 300m hurdles. Ethan Fahrendorf: took 7th in the discus. The boy’s 4x100m relay consisting of Wyatt Weber, Kayden Jenry, Ethan Fahrendorf, and Weston Rentel took 5th overall with a time of 55.20. The girl's 4x100m relay consisting of Nadeen Zeller, Katie Fenical, Grace Peterson, and Marci Lammers took 3rd overall with a time of 58.86. The PG Girls team ranked 5th overall and the PG Boys team ranked 6th overall in team points. -- They weren’t the only tigers there. But, they are our tigers, and we are proud of their hard work and consistent dedication to their craft as they continue to improve and represent the school with poise, class, and dignity* --- *Without a Track Congratulations, Team! |
Wood Bat Tournament Twillman Field at Harley Park (Turf Field at BHS) Saturday, 4/22/2023 Schedule: Game times are estimated. We will start earlier if possible. ● 9:00 am - Boonville vs. Centralia ● 11:00 am - Pilot Grove vs. South Callaway ● 1:00 pm - Boonville vs. South Callaway ● 3:00 pm - Pilot Grove vs. Centralia ● 5:00 pm - Centralia vs. South Callaway ● 7:00 pm - Boonville vs. Pilot Grove Home Team: ● A coin flip will determine the home team. Baseballs: ● Each team will supply four new baseballs per game I/O Practice: ● Each team will take infield/outfield practice one time before 1st game. Batting Cage: ● Optional for teams |
