FBLA & FFA Members

FFA and FBLA members attended MO-ACTE Legislative Day in Jefferson City today and met with Representative Tim Taylor, were introduced on the House floor and were given a private tour by Representative Taylor.  They spoke with him about the importance of Career and Technical Education in today's world.

After their tour at the capitol, the group went to Martin Energy in Tipton for an industry tour.  Here they were told about the products that Martin produces and career opportunities that the company offers.  The students were also able to watch a laser machine cut steel plates which was very interesting.
